1. License
CueNotch grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control, subject to the App Store rules for your Apple ID. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass product limits.
2. Payments and Pro Plans
CueNotch Pro is available through Apple's App Store as either:
- CueNotch Pro Weekly, an auto-renewable weekly subscription; or
- CueNotch Pro Lifetime, a one-time purchase.
The price applicable to you is displayed by Apple in your local currency before you confirm the purchase. Apple processes all payments, receipts, renewals, refunds, and purchase restoration.
3. Weekly Subscription
CueNotch Pro Weekly automatically renews every week unless you cancel it through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. You will normally retain Pro access until the end of the already-paid subscription period.
If Apple reports that the subscription has expired, been revoked, or could not be renewed, Weekly Pro access will end and the CueNotch account will return to the applicable free plan.
CueNotch does not directly charge your payment method or control Apple's billing system.
4. Lifetime Purchase
CueNotch Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that provides continued access to the Pro features included with that product, subject to successful verification of the Apple transaction. Existing Lifetime customers retain their Lifetime access.
5. Complimentary Trial
CueNotch's complimentary three-day Pro trial is separate from the Apple Weekly subscription. It does not automatically renew and does not automatically charge the user.
After the trial ends, the user may continue with CueNotch's free plan or choose Weekly Pro or Lifetime Pro.
6. Moving from Weekly to Lifetime
Weekly Pro and Lifetime Pro unlock the same Pro feature set. To avoid overlapping purchases, an active Weekly subscriber should cancel automatic renewal and wait for the current weekly period to end before purchasing Lifetime Pro.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Weekly subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Apple's subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple and can be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use CueNotch for any illegal, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or rights-infringing purpose. You may not attempt to exploit free trials, daily activations, Pro-only features, or payment systems.
9. Disclaimers
CueNotch is provided as-is. Live captions, rehearsal feedback, memorization tools, AI rewriting, speech recognition, and delivery suggestions are assistive features and may not always be perfect. You are responsible for reviewing your scripts and how you use the app.
10. Account deletion
You may delete your account from CueNotch Settings. Account deletion removes account-linked server records and signs you out, but device-scoped trial history may be retained to prevent repeated trial abuse.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
