Open the downloaded DMG file and drag CueNotch to your Applications folder.
When macOS shows a security warning, don't worry — this is normal for apps outside the App Store. Right-click CueNotch in Applications → click Open → click Open in the dialog.
If you see "cannot be opened", go to: System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → click "Open Anyway" next to CueNotch.
