About CueNotch and how we review Mac teleprompters

CueNotch is a native Mac teleprompter developed by Siddharth Radhakrishnan. This site documents the product, practical camera workflows, and the Mac teleprompter category around it.

Our review method

CueNotch publishes comparisons, so every competitor article should be read with that relationship in mind. We state the disclosure on comparison pages and link to official product sites, App Store listings, or source repositories wherever possible.

For product comparisons, we check six practical criteria:

  • script placement relative to the Mac camera;
  • voice scrolling or speech tracking behavior;
  • screen-sharing and recording privacy;
  • macOS version and hardware requirements;
  • current public pricing and trial access;
  • script preparation, rehearsal, caption, and organization tools.

Corrections and updates

Software changes quickly. Comparison pages display a checked or updated date, and current official sources take priority over old pricing, launch posts, or third-party summaries. If a fact is wrong or outdated, contact support so it can be verified and corrected.

Start with the evidence

See the Mac teleprompter app comparison, learn how screen-share privacy works, or review the camera eye-contact research and setup guide.
