What the live read measures

While you rehearse, CueNotch shows your camera feed with the script in the notch, and a live read panel beside it with four signals:

• Pace: whether you are speeding up. Most people rush the parts they know best and the openings they are nervous about.
• Pauses: whether you give a point room before the next one. A pause after a number or a key claim lets it land.
• Posture: whether you are leaning in, slumping or drifting off-centre as the take goes on.
• Frame: whether your head and shoulders stay in a steady, well-placed shot.

When it can't follow your words against the script, it says so with a short note rather than guessing. That usually points at a sentence that is hard to say out loud and worth rewriting.

A ten-minute rehearsal routine

1. Read the whole script once with the coach on, without stopping to fix anything.
2. Look at where pace jumped and where pauses vanished. Mark those two or three spots.
3. Rewrite any sentence you stumbled on, by hand or with Magic Polish. Shorter sentences are easier to say than to read.
4. Rehearse only the marked sections twice.
5. Do one last full run, then start the real call from the same script with the notch teleprompter.

Ten focused minutes before an interview or a demo is usually enough. The goal is not a perfect score; it is removing the two or three habits a listener would notice.
